The important idea in the book Wonder is don’t judge a boy by his face. Pretty much they are saying don’t judge a book by its cover. The story is about a boy who has a facial deformity and he was always homeschooled. For fifth grade he decides he will go to a real school, he it is easier than he thought but harder for a kid like him. The theme in the story is that you really shouldn’t be a bully because it may hurt the person much more than you think.

             In the story you will see how Auggie changes, gets stronger and has more friends. For example, he met Summer, he thought the principal talked to her. But the principal didn’t, she just was doing it to be nice, that made auggie happy. This shows that if you are nice to others then you can change some ones day. " Jack: can we b frenz agen? August: ok Jack: awsum!!!! August: lol yes dude we'r fenz agen. " That made auggie happy that he got an email from jack.

Also he met Jack, the principal talked to him but later on jack actually liked auggie. For example, he didn’t really like auggie until he realized that auggie was a nice kid and that he was a great friend and his face didn’t matter. This shows that if you really spend time with someone then you may find that someone is better than you thought.

           By the end of the story auggie has freinds and is not judged by his face but by his heart. For example, summer and jack don’t even care about how he looks anymore. This shows that if you look past how the person looks they may be prettier inside than out. In some situations the person may seem weird or crazy, but don’t judge them if it only happened once. Or twice or even three times. Give them a chance.

             So the theme in the story is don’t be mean because it could hurt that person so much more then you think. This relates to real life because so many people are bullied by their skin color or how they look. Is it really necesarry? Stand up for yourself. And don’t make others feel bad about who they are just because they are slightly different than you!

A Poem

Some people think that poems are just rhymes, like Red Fish Blue Fish One Fish Two Fish. But really, their not. A poem doesent have to rhyme, it can be a small medaphore like The Guy Is Like A Blanket That Keeps Me Warm. There are so many things that cane be poems. Like The Bird Chirps Outside As The Morning Dew Is Dripping Down My Window. Poems are eveywhere!

My Brothers Birthday

You know how on your birthday your parents ask if you feel older. Well no one needed to ask my brother because the answer is no. He was turning six but acted like he was two. He pooped his pants twice and acted additionally rude. But his 6th birthday party was better than my 10th. And my parents said that double digits was a big deal. But apperently six is better for a kid who acts like hes 2. The party was a mess, only four other girls and 2 where my age and we had to stay in my room because the boys where traumatizing us. So that is how I spent my saturday.

Meanest Doll In The World: Literary Essay

I think that the important idea in the story is that if you are in danger, dont just think about yourself but think of others. The gist is mostly about two dolls who end up in their owners school but take an adventure instead of going home. The theme of the story might be help others out.

         Throughout the story these dolls have never been to school. For example Annabell has been in the family for 100 years and never been to school. This shows that she was always afraid that in school she would be seen.

Also in the story Annabell meets Tiffany who is now her best freind. For years it has been anabell and her family and everyone stayed in the house. This shows that over time many things change.

          By the middle of the book they end up in the wron backpack and go to the wrong house. They meet mean mimi. They almost never got back but they helped the dolls stop mean mimi from destroying the house. From doll exposion.

They helped save all dollkind and hopefully it stays that way. This shows that helping is a very wonderful thing.

$1,000,000,00

Some day I bet everyone wished or wishes that they would get a billion dollars some day. But some day people will realize that its not the money that makes the world better. Its something worth a lot more than money. And some day people may not know it, maybe they think money is better, but its not. But maybe people will realize that the thing that is better than money is... FAMILY, FRIENDS AND LOVE. Most people dont realize it but if you think about it, who raised you, who tucked you in at night and who made you happy when you where sad. Thats right, family and friends. And the reason that you are with them is because they LOVE you much more than $1,000,000,00.

Dance

So, yesterday I had dance.We did our usual warm up then our teacher played two songs and said " Wich song do you guys want to use for the recidal?" We all voted the second song. so we started  to work on the moves. She gave us each a pose after we look up and push away from the mirror. Then we had to do this high shunnay low shunnay leap and the first time I tried I landed on my foot. It  hurt really bad so I had to sit out for the rest of class. It was cool to watch but I am happy that I can dance next week!

Brocoli: The lone Broc

There was the broccoli, sitting on my half emptied plate. Sitting there, UNEATEN! A dog under the table would do, or maybe a brocoli eating robot. If there was only a way to get rid of it, a way to dispose of the brocoli sitting on my plate. I just wish there was a invisible black hole that I could send my brocoli through. I wish it was just GONE! Sick of brocoli, had it yesterday and the past 4 days after that. Dont they get it, ENOUGH BROCOLI!

Chunking

Frying his body all day / Jacob Jhonson / got a horrible sunburn by afternoon / because the cheap suntan lotion from his brother / became a thin liquid / and dripped into the sand.

All kinds of vegetables / from celery to fresh tomatoes / were laughing or dancing or playing in the salad bowl / and the salad dressing / that had been as quiet and unnoticed as the bowl itself / suddenly giggled with glee.

Dad was on the riding mower in the afternoon / cutting grass bagging / clippings mulching them / to cover his plantings / for protection

My Suprise!

I get home on thursday and my mom says " We have to leave at 5:00pm." I asked " Why? Are we going somewhere?" " Yes we are."My mom said. " Where, where, Where?!" I cheered, My mom said " Its a SUPRISE!" "Are we going to meet marlene" I asked, I havent seen marlene in a while so I thought maybe. " Why marlene?" When she said that I thought it would never be marlene. But in the car my mom said " We are going to see marlene and her mom at bistro joes." " YAY!" I said.

My Break

My break was not what you would call awesome or great. I was sick the whole time. I had a bacterial lung infection. It made me super tired, cough a lot and get really bad headaches. I was miserable. I thought that I would be sick on the first week of school. I am happy I feel much better now. The sickness made me so tired that I almost stayed in my room the whole time. I had so much chicken soup. I also had to drink a lot of gatorade. I am so happy I did not get the flu. I am happy I feel better.
